General Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage hotel staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local businesses
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through excellent customer service and quality control
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of hotel facilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
  • Monitor industry trends and adjust operations accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management or related field
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make strategic decisions
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and basic computer skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy

Working Conditions:

  • The hotel general manager will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests, staff, and vendors. They may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The position may require standing for extended periods of time. Travel may also be required for industry events or meetings with corporate Organizations.

Salary
N150,000 / month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve drinks according to established recipes and standards
