Introduction

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is a government agency in Nigeria responsible for ensuring the safety of road users, reducing road accidents, and improving the overall transportation system in the country.

Established in 1988, the FRSC operates under the Federal Ministry of Transportation and is charged with the responsibility of enforcing road traffic regulations, educating the public on road safety, and providing rescue and emergency services to road users.

With a mandate to make Nigerian roads safe and secure for all, the FRSC has become a critical stakeholder in the transportation sector and is widely recognized for its efforts in reducing road accidents and promoting safe driving practices.

The Federal Road Safety Commission has opened it’s portal for 2023 recruitment. Kindly read the requirement below:

Requirement for FRSC Recruitment 2023

RMA Cadre

a. Road Marshal Assistant II

Qualifications Applicants must possess minimum of 5 credits in SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) which must include English Language and Mathematics

b. Road Marshal Assistant III

Qualifications Minimum of three (3) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, one of the credits must be in English Language.

c. Artisans and Tradesmen

Artisans and Tradesmen may apply under this category. Those applying for the posts of Computer Operators, Drivers, Mechanics, Motorcycle Riders, Electricians, Instrumentalists, Tailors, Plumbers, etc must possess the following:

• i. A minimum of 4 passes in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB.
• ii. Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
• iii. Drivers and Riders must have the appropriate class of Driver’s Licence.

d. Drivers and Riders

• i. Drivers and Riders MUST have appropriate class of valid National Driver’s License
• ii. Trade Test and or other professional Certificates.
• iii. Attempted SSCE/GCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)

MI Cadre

1. a. Marshal Inspector IQualifications
   Candidates must possess the following:
   Double Qualifications RN & RM, Accident & Emergency Nurses, Pediatric Nurses, Anesthetic Nurses, Orthopedic Nurses, Radiographers from recognized institutions
2. b. Marshal Inspector IIQualifications
   Candidates must possess the following:
   • i. Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) in relevant disciplines.
   • ii. Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM).
   • iii. Statement of Result not beyond 5years.
3. c. Marshal Inspector IIIQualifications
   Applicants must possess the following from recognized Institutions:
   • i. National Diploma (ND)
   • ii. Senior Community Health Extension Workers Certificate (CHEW),
   • iii. Medical Laboratory Technicians
   • iv. Pharmacy Technicians
   • v. Dental Technicians

Officer Cadre

Qualification:
Applicants must possess a first Degree/HND from recognized Institutions of learning and NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exemption Certificate.

Officer(MBBS) Cadre

Qualification:
Candidates must possess the following:

• i. Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning in Medicine
• ii. NYSC Discharge Certificate

How to Register for FRSC Recruitment 2023

To register for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) recruitment exercise on the official website (https://recruitment.frsc.gov.ng/), follow these steps:

1. Visit the FRSC recruitment portal at https://recruitment.frsc.gov.ng/ and click on the “Application” button and then click “Apply”.
2. Select your category from the “Position” drop-down list.
3. Select “National Identification Number(NIN)” and “Driver License Number” from the “Specialization” drop-down list.
4. Enter your surname in the “Surname” field.
5. Enter your other names in the “Other Names” field.
6. Enter your email address in the “E-Mail” field.
7. Confirm your email address in the “Confirm E-Mail” field.
8. Enter your contact address in the “Contact Address” field.
9. Enter your phone number in the “Phone Number” field.
10. Enter your date of birth in the “Date Of Birth” field (in the format mm/dd/yyyy).
11. Enter your place of birth in the “Place Of Birth” field.
12. Select “Nigerian” as your nationality.
13. Select your state of origin from the “State Of Origin” drop-down list.
14. Select your local government area of origin from the “LGA Of Origin” drop-down list.
15. Enter your home town in the “Home Town” field.
16. Select your preferred physical screening venue from the “Preferred Physical Screening Venue” drop-down list.
17. Enter your height in meters in the “Height” field.
18. Enter your weight in kilograms in the “Weight” field.
19. Select your gender from the “Gender” drop-down list.
20. Select your marital status from the “Marital Status” drop-down list.
21. Review your application to ensure that all information provided is correct.
22. Click on the “Submit Application” button to complete the process.
23. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions on the next steps of the recruitment exercise.
